Before presales opened on February 18, the all-new Cadillac CT5 first went to set some lap records: with a lap time of 1:49.681, the all-new CT5 became the "fastest four-door production gasoline car under 350,000 yuan" at Zhejiang International Circuit, while the CT5-V BLACKWING, with a lap time of 1:38.421, rewrote the record for the "fastest four-door production gasoline car."

After setting the lap records, the all-new Cadillac CT5 opened presales in the afternoon. The official notice said that the new car has undergone configuration adjustments based on market feedback and user needs, canceling the entry-level model and streamlining the lineup to two luxury rear-drive models: the Urban Sport Edition and the Track Performance Edition, with the latter equipped with the Peak Track Package.

As for the price, you can refer to the "title" the all-new CT5 earned by setting its lap time — with 350,000 yuan as the dividing line, but at the same time Cadillac also offers a 6-tier customized presale gift package worth up to 78,000 yuan. The presale gifts are limited to users who order before 16:00 on March 1 and take delivery before April 30.


The biggest difference of the all-new Cadillac CT5 is high performance. In the 350,000 yuan and even 400,000 yuan range, most sedans from the luxury brands BBA are known for luxury and comfort. If you want better performance, you need to more carefully choose imported cars, add option packages, or choose special editions — and of course, the price changes accordingly.

The all-new CT5 comes in the same body colors as the BLACKWING, namely DRIFT Blue and TYPHOON Green. These two cool tones also carry a hint of Morandi gray, making them look even cooler and more distinctive. Not only that, the all-new CT5 is also equipped with four black-label performance kits, including the black emblem, black tail badge, black mirrors, and black grille, further enhancing the sporty feel of the whole vehicle and visually creating a sharp, angular sense of galloping.


The all-new Cadillac CT5 not only looks like it can run, but its actual core is indeed very capable of running, because in addition to the golden 50:50 weight distribution, the all-new CT5 is also equipped with the "supercar four-piece set," including the true fourth-generation MRC magnetic fluid electromagnetic suspension, which can ensure 1,000 scans per second of real-time road conditions and provide corresponding suspension softness and firmness; the mLSD mechanical limited-slip differential, which not only brings stronger and more stable handling, but also provides better grip on icy and snowy roads; custom high-performance Brembo four-piston brake calipers, paired with Michelin PS4S high-performance tires, allowing passion to be unleashed more steadily and also controlled more freely.

These performance kits are rare premium items in the same price range. In terms of power, it is equipped with the fourth-generation 2.0T variable-cylinder turbocharged direct-injection engine, matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine has a maximum power of 237 kW and peak torque of up to 400 N·m.


From the interior, the all-new CT5 follows the family style and continues Cadillac's wraparound yacht interior. The most eye-catching feature is the 33-inch curved 9K ultra-retina display. It is also equipped with 126-color selectable ambient lighting and an AKG recording-studio-grade audio system — these heavyweight features are also installed in the all-new XT5, whose stunning performance everyone has already fully experienced.

In addition, the all-new CT5 is also equipped with an ANC active noise cancellation and quiet system, front-seat heating/steering wheel heating, and an anti-glare interior rearview mirror/streaming media interior rearview mirror, maintaining the consistent standard of luxury and technology.


In terms of intelligent technology, the all-new CT5 is equipped with a full-speed-range ACC intelligent active cruise system, and also features HoLCA intelligent lane centering assist, as well as Haptic safety alert vibration seats (that is, when a risk is detected, in addition to a buzzer, the seat will vibrate as a warning) and a 360° panoramic image system.

In addition, Cadillac also offers the Peak Track Package, which includes 19-inch obsidian aluminum alloy wheels, Brembo four-piston calipers with V sport custom appearance, and exclusive piano-key interior, among others.


The all-new Cadillac CT5 is built on a luxury rear-drive platform.
