On October 25, 2026, the regional launch and delivery party for the all-new fourth-generation Boyue L, themed "Hello, i-HEV Boyue L," was held at GogagaPark Shanhai Camp in Kunming. At the event, manufacturer leaders, Geely owners, and media guests gathered in the Spring City to test drive the new car, witness its launch, and hold a glorious delivery ceremony for the first batch of owners.
Two models launched together, the champion family SUV advances further
Boyue L has ten years of champion heritage, with more than 2.45 million users worldwide, and has ranked first in A-segment fuel SUV sales for 14 consecutive months. The all-new fourth-generation Boyue L fuel version and i-HEV hybrid version were launched simultaneously, centered on the "five champion strengths": champion energy efficiency, champion performance, champion intelligence, champion quality, and champion safety. The new car is equipped with 25 class-exclusive configurations and has completed more than 200 functional upgrades.
Intelligent powertrain: 3L-class fuel consumption, over 1,200 km on one tank
The i-HEV version is equipped with Geely's self-developed China third-generation i-HEV intelligent hybrid technology, consisting of a 1.5TD hybrid-dedicated engine and an 11-in-1 integrated electric drive.
Fuel saving: pure electric drive in more than 80% of operating conditions, engine running time reduced by 27% compared with traditional oil-electric hybrids, measured fuel consumption at the 3L class, and comprehensive range with a full tank and full charge exceeding 1,200 km. No external charging is needed; simply refuel and go, with no need to worry about replenishment in urban congestion or long holiday trips.
Power: the hybrid engine has a maximum power of 120 kW and torque of 255 N·m, and the P3 motor has a power of 175 kW. Acceleration from 0-30 km/h takes only 2.11 seconds, 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 7.7 seconds, and power response time is 10 ms.
Quietness: pure electric driving is possible below 66 km/h in urban areas, and the vehicle's NVH performance is close to that of a pure electric model.
Safety: the P1 motor, P3 motor, and engine are fully decoupled. If any one power source fails, the other two can still drive the vehicle independently. The battery adopts a liquid-cooling solution, and the battery pack protection rating reaches IP68.
The fuel version is the first to be equipped with the all-new generation 1.5TD Pro high-power engine, with a maximum power of 148 kW and maximum torque of 315 N·m. WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 6.69L/100km, and power level is close to that of a 2.0TD.
Intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit: making high-level intelligence no longer exclusive to new energy
The new car is equipped with the Qianli Haohan H5 assisted driving solution and is the only mass-produced fuel SUV under 300,000 yuan equipped with lidar. The system integrates 27 sensors and supports urban NOA, highway NOA, and HPA cross-floor memory parking, enabling nationwide navigated assisted driving. In the cockpit, the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit features the Xingrui AI large-model voice assistant, Amap 850 navigation, a 25.6-inch AR-HUD, and an exterior speaker.
Quality and safety: the travel choice for the whole family
Comfort: the new car is equipped with fully featured front seats (heating, ventilation, massage, memory), rear seat heating, a 16-speaker 7.1.2 panoramic sound system, and double-layer laminated glass, with a leather wrapping rate of 90%. The CMA luxury architecture is paired with CCD variable damping suspension, balancing handling and comfort.
Active safety: equipped with 32 active safety functions, supporting AEB stopping at 130 km/h and nighttime avoidance of children suddenly darting out.
Passive safety: body torsional rigidity reaches 32,000 N·m/deg, and it adopts a 1,500 MPa integrated hot-formed boron steel door ring.
Healthy cockpit: CN95 filters are standard across the lineup, with an in-car PM2.5 particle interception rate of 99.9%.
In terms of exterior, the new car upgrades the front grille and bumper on the basis of "Shanhe Aesthetics," adds two new wheel designs, 19-inch Star Diamond and 20-inch Star Blade, as well as two body colors, Danxia Red and Snow Mountain Gold, and a Yunjin Brown interior color.
A new start in the Spring City, a glorious moment of delivery
On the day of the event, guests successively completed check-in, test drive experience, launch and delivery, and dinner. During the test drive session, guests experienced the pure electric quietness, power response, and intelligent driving assistance of the i-HEV version. In the delivery session, the first batch of owners received their car keys and shared their expectations for using the car.
With the all-new fourth-generation Boyue L i-HEV officially landing in Kunming, users in Yunnan now have a hybrid option in addition to the fuel version.
